For BCCHF staff who donate to my page, they can opt-in to a raffle draw to use my parking spot in Lot 9100. I have approval from Todd Jacques and he will also grant parking access to your hospital ID badge if you need access to the parkade after 6pm.

Donations made to Calvin's fundraising page will also count towards raffle draws if you attend the event in Richmond.

*NEW*A donation of $10 or more grants you entry into the free parking raffle. The amount you donated is proportional to your chances of winning.

Your cumulative donation total will determine your odds of winning. Donations made on extra-life.org will be converted to Canadian to calculate the odds. You can win more than one parking with the same chances. So you can theoretically win all draws with one donation.

Method of determining winner: For all donors who opt-in that meet the conditions, ~~their donation value will be multiplied by a random decimal value between 0 through 1. The person highest value will win~~. If they cannot use the parking, then it will go to the person with the next highest value.

*REVISION*After examination of my mathematics, the multiplication of random numbers will not yield a fair distribution of odds. So now, the odds are calculated and mapped to number ranges proportional to the donation amount then a single random number is used to draw the winner who is in that range. The draw is repeated to determine if there is a second place or third place for backup

Early Bonus Draw - Draw on Oct 2, 12pm for parking between Fri Oct 3, 2014 to Wed Oct 14, 2014 inclusive. - Winner: Matthew Wright
Early December 2 day draw - Draw for parking on Dec Thu 4 to Fri 5 (2 days) - Winner: David Mark
Holiday Season Draw 1 - Draw on Dec 15 for parking between Fri Dec 19 to Wed Dec 24 inclusive (4 working days) - Winner: David Mark
Holiday Season Draw 2 - Draw on Dec 15 for parking between Mon Dec 29 to Fri Jan 2 inclusive (4 working days) - Winner: Julia Louie
Honeymoon Draw - Draw date TBD. Aaron will be off on Honeymoon for an extended vacation in the late summer of 2015.
Others - There may be other times I may be off and my Extra Life donors will have the privilege of opting in for the free parking raffle.

Conditions:

Limited to BCCHF staff only.
You must email me ahui@bcchf.ca to opt-in to the raffle.
Staff who already have parking at Lot 9100 are not eligible.
Staff must be able to make some use of the free parking during the days I am away.
I will only register one vehicle per winner. I will need the license plate and car's make and model to register with Advance Parking.
You will be responsible for any parking violations costs.
The prize is non-transferable. You may give up the prize and it will go to the next highest person on the list.
The parking pass must be returned to me or back to my desk by the following business day first thing in the morning.
If the pass is not returned in time, then you will be responsible for covering my parking costs at standard staff parking rates.
Donations must be in by October 26, 2014 at 8am to qualify.
