- give Trevor overview of Client Meeting
- Java Network Launching protocol
- concern JAVA may not be on windows machine anymore
- must decide on whether to do Java 1.5 or Java 1.4 (more comptabile with more
machines)
- testing to be done on ugrad machines and home machines
- notify Trevor of MySQL route
- however, flat file option is open to consideration as well
- JAVA applet decided as opposed to ColdFusion (NOOO) or PHP
- to write program from Scratch
- not really considering using open source projects

ALTERNATIVES TO SOCKETS: (since sockets are not really scalable)
- RMI
- servlet based implementation <-- Best option that is also scalable
- Enterprise JavaBeans
- Corba
- Trevor suggested well defined architecture if choose to start with sockets so
that you can integrate with RMI later on if needed
